Hello everyone! I know you have all been waiting anxiously to read my blog. I am in my 3rd week of student teaching and I'm tired. My preschoolers ware me out. I have 26 little children that are full of energy and keep me busy, but don't worry they are split up into 2 sections. I have half in the morning and the other half in the afternoon.
Let me tell you about the morning class. They are the younger of the two classes and they seem to be the most mischevious. One child enjoys pooping his pants, another has so much attitude she could give any teenage girl a run for her money. But even though they are difficult at times they make me smile everydya. If I am able to survive the morning, then it is usually smooth sailing with the afternoon class.
Since this is a preschool classroom, there is not as much structure as a primary classroom. I have been doing calendar and reading the book of the day with my students. There is a lot of singing, which I do not enjoy, but I give my best effort!! :) One funny story about one of the little boys in the afternoon. He wasn't able to say my name and would forget so he decided to call me Mr. Pickle. It made me laugh and the teacher thought it was hilarious.
Well, I must be going, but I hope you are all doing well. Take care and until next time...
